On 30 July 2026, Puthi Komar Organization (PKO), the National University of Battambang (NUBB) and U-GO officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand higher-education opportunities for young women.
The partnership aims to provide tuition scholarships and educational support to young women from Battambang and surrounding areas, helping them pursue university studies and overcome financial barriers to higher education.
Through this collaboration, the three organizations will work together to identify and support eligible young women who demonstrate academic potential, determination and a commitment to improving their futures.
In addition to financial support, access to higher education can help scholarship recipients strengthen their knowledge, professional skills and confidence. These opportunities can improve their employment prospects and enable them to contribute positively to their families and communities.
The partnership reflects a shared belief that investing in women’s education creates lasting benefits. When young women have equitable access to education, they are better equipped to pursue meaningful careers, participate in decision-making and contribute to Cambodia’s social and economic development.
PKO sincerely appreciates the National University of Battambang and U-GO for their partnership and shared commitment to empowering young Cambodian women through education.
